With the current cost of living crisis, the design concept below proposes a solution in the form of a low energy companion that that covers each stage of the "sleep map" promoting falling asleep through the use of light therapy and the psychological comfort of accessibility and portability: having a torch within reach for any late night runs to the toilet.

The concept was designed with manufacturing and end of life in mind, considering the energy across the whole product life cycle in comparison to leaving lights on. Additionally designed with easy disassembly and incentives for returning at the end of the use life.
